WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE FOLLOWING ARTISTS FOR VOLUNTEERING THEIR TIME AND GREAT TALENT. IF WE COULD HAVE ONLY HAD THE WEATHER MAN VOLUNTEER US A NICE COUPLE OF DAYS IT WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE ENJOYABLE. THE MUSIC COULD HAVE BEEN EXPLAINED IN ONE WORD -- "GREAT"

Below is Dann and Scooter with Senator Bob Corker.

Dann made the trip to Nashville when the vote passed making March 29th Vietnam Veterans Day from this year forth.

WHEN THINKING AND PRAYING FOR OUR VIETNAM VETERANS LET'S NOT FORGET THE ONES WHO CAME BEFORE US, IN THEIR OWN FORGOTTEN WAR -- THE KOREAN VETS. THEY WERE NOT WELCOMED HOME PROPERLY EITHER. LET'S HOPE THEY CAN BAND TOGETHER AND GET THEIR JUST REWARDS AND WELCOME THEM HOME AND THANK THEM.

OUR HEARTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO THE VETERANS OF IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN AND THE FIRST GULF WAR AND TO THE TROOPS STILL SERVING IN IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN. AND SPECIAL PRAYERS TO THOSE WHO ARE GOING TO DEPLOY TO THE MIDDLE EAST. AND LETS NOT FORGET OUR TROOPS STATIONED ALL OUR AROUND THE WORLD AND ON THE SEAS AND IN THE SKIES. To view a slide show dedicated to them hit the Iraq Campaign ribbon below.

Cumberland County Mayor Brock Hill and Crossville Mayor J.H. Graham III have also proclaimed the 29th of March as Vietnam Veterans Day in Cumberland County and Crossville. We would like to thank both Mayors and their governing bodies for this proclamation and granting permission for the parade and other festivities.
DANN DUNHAM and RON "SCOOTER" DYER for getting this whole "Welcome Home" started. They put in a lot of work. And thanks to Ron for recording our theme song.

Vietnam is where American personnel came over as boys

and went home as men. If indeed they were lucky enough to survive to make that trip. Many made the trip but not with all the body parts they came with. That was not the case for some 58,000 that made the sad trip in body bags. May their souls rest in peace. And numerous others are still listed as either MIA or POW. Let's keep them in our prayers. Praying some day that they too will be returning.
